We offer a variety of traffic management devices to help guide participants and control traffic flow. Often a combination of equipment is needed to effectively mark and manage an event site and/or course.
Types of Devices
Cones
Cones can be used to mark hazards, direct traffic and indicate special routes.
Specifications:
- four sizes: 12″, 18″, 28″ or 36″
- durable
- fluorescent orange color makes them visible at any time and are available with or without the reflective collar
Cone Bar
New in 2022. LAS now offers expandable cone bars. Each bar is highly reflective and extends up to 10’ in length. Cone bars can be used with any type of cones and can be quickly deployed in situations where a full size traffic barricade or French Barricade are not necessary.
Verticade
Verticade can be used to mark hazards, direct traffic, indicate special routes or as a sign holder (see above photo).
Specifications:
- 15″ wide x 45″ high
- reflective strips on both sides
- rubber weight to hold it upright
Type I, II, III Barricades
Plasticade Type I White / Orange Barricades can be used for road closures, to direct traffic or as a sign holder.
Specifications:
- 25″ wide x 45″ high
- reflective sheet on both sides
Plasticade Sawhorse Barricades can be used for road closures, to direct traffic or as a sign holder.
Specifications:
- 8′ long x 39″ high x 25″ wide
- reflective sheet on both sides
Plasticade Type II Barricades can be used for road closures, to direct traffic or as a sign holder.
Specifications:
- 8′ long x 39″ high x 25″ wide
- 2 slats
- reflective sheet on both sides
Type III Barricades can be used for road closures.
Specifications:
- 8′ long x 60″ high
- three boards covered with reflective sheets on both sides
- two metal feet keep the barricade upright
- rubber weights or sand bags are used in case of high intensity winds
Traffic Barrels
Traffic barrels can be used to channel and separate traffic and create additional visibility.
Specifications:
- two reflective stripes around the barrel
- rubber weights at the base
Visual Display Boards
Visual Display Boards can be used to display traffic announcements or make notifications to event participants, spectators or the general public.
